Music choice and permission email.

we are also interested in using the song 'Geronimo' by band 'Sheppard'.
After emailing both their record label and press manager we unfortunately still got no response

Location.

We have 5 main locations where we shot our documentary - these places were deliberately chosen to create a specific atmosphere and set the scene. We didn't have any deliberate or specific props so it was important that our locations were memorable and effective.

Weybridge high-street
Most of our panning shots are of Weybridge high-street. We chose this location as it conveys a sense of normality, it shows a local place, suggesting to the audience that the subject matter is not out of the ordinary or an uncomfortable topic. We also want our audience to feel that our documentary is relevant to their everyday lives.

The Mormon Church in Addlestone
We wanted to use an actual Mormon church in our documentary, therefore we used shots of the nearest Mormon church in our area. This is used during the time lapse, it relevance is increased due to the narration of Mormon facts being played in a voice recording during the screen time.

School/the common room

This location was very convenient as it meant that we could do the shots in our lesson time. It is also a familiar place to encourage the message of Mormonism being very normal and natural to our audience. It creates a relatable and comfortable atmosphere.

Emily's kitchen
We chose to shoot Andy's (our Mormon) interview here. We felt this was appropriate as it is a normal and familiar place, further reassuring our audience of the normality of the documentary's topic. The location also provides a good background with soft, neutral colours; we felt this also symbolised tranquillity and a sense of comfortable normality.

Emily's bedroom

This was where we decided to film my interview. We agreed on this location as it was convenient, relevant and displayed a comfortable and familiar environment, not unlike the location of our Mormon Andy's interview.
